Happy Holidays from HiFi Simulation Technologies!

As 2024 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude, reflect on this year’s achievements, and share our exciting plans for the upcoming year.

First and foremost, we extend a sincere thank you to our customers, supporters, development partners and dedicated staff. Your support is the bedrock of our existence, enabling us to push the boundaries of weather simulation with Active Sky.

2024 has been one of our most dynamic and challenging in our history. A few things we worked on include:

  • ASXP12 Enhancements: We introduced ground snow coverage with real snow depth data and integrated NOAA data downloads across all our products, enhancing data redundancy and capability.
  • Active Sky FS Launch: A major milestone with its debut on the MSFS2020 platform, followed by a significant Service Update 1 to support the newly released MSFS2024 version.

Looking Ahead to 2025:

  • 25 Years of Weather Simulation Development: 2025 marks our 25th anniversary since Active Sky’s initial public release. We’ve been in this game for a while, but we’re far from finished! In many ways, we’re just getting started!
  • Continued Development: We’re not slowing down! Look forward to new features in both ASFS and ASXP12. Service Update 2 for ASFS is set to enter beta testing soon, alongside a substantial update for ASXP12.
  • Beta Team Expansion: We’re excited to announce we’ll be opening additional Beta Team slots in January. Watch for application details around mid-month; this is your chance to help shape and refine our public releases.

Holiday Sales Event:
To celebrate the season, we’re offering an additional 25% discount on our already reduced prices. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your simulation experience. The sale runs from now until January 3rd.

Thank you again, everyone, and Happy Holidays! We’re incredibly excited about what 2025 holds for us. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey together in the world of advanced weather simulation.

Warm regards,

The HiFi Simulation Technologies Team
